Hi Ed,

Happy New Year! It's hard to believe it has been a year since Endicott was in training with you. I just wanted to let you know that he is doing very well and we are both at a better place. I've continued the ground work and had a local trainer assist me in building up my riding confidence. Endy and I have gone on trail rides with a friend and he's like a different horse. We even jumped a creek and cantered across a field without any incidents. He has only acted up a couple of times in the past 4 months and I was able to quickly bring him back without a buck or him getting upset. I feel much better handling various situations when he does act up. I'm not sure we will ever show dressage again, but it doesn't really matter anymore as long as we enjoy our time spent together. I want to thank you for getting Endy and I back on track. It was worth the money, time and effort. And we will continue with the ground work as I have learned it sets the tone for everything you do in the saddle.

Thanks again and God Bless,
Darcy and Endicott Sun

Hi Ed,
I sure enjoyed the weekend with you up in Asheville. You are excellent. I appreciated your patience and lack of snobbery. You have good skills as an educator.

Hope all is well with you and your family.

Sincerely,
Cindy King

Ed,

I want to say I thoroughly enjoyed the clinic and that you are an excellent teacher. I learned a tremendous amount over the weekend and am a testament to that you CAN ‘teach an old dog new tricks’. I am looking forward to participating in your ‘upcoming’ advanced riding clinic! Thanks to your training, Doc basically walked onto the trailer. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated that you took the time to work with getting Doc on the trailer and showing me and the rest of the students the correct way to teach a horse to load.

Well, I am looking forward to reviewing with Doc in the weeks ahead all that we learned over the weekend and hopefully the next time you see us the new things we learn will come natural to us. I am sincerely interested in more clinics – especially the riding clinic.

Thanks again for the wonderful clinic and it was great being a student of yours and getting to know you better. I love the west and ranching and enjoyed hearing about your experiences.

Happy trails,

Dick Hussey - Athens, GA

I just want to drop a line and say, a “Big Thank You” to your continued patience in developing my horsemanship skills, and the wonderful relationship that Snickers and I currently have. It takes a special person to be as far advanced as you are in your field, with the experience and expertise in the horse world, and still to continue to maintain an enormous amount of patience for novices such as myself! Even though, I must look very inexperienced and even silly most times, you’ve never made me feel that way. And because of that, I’m very appreciative. I probably would have given up on this most desired love of mine, to own a horse one day, (dream of mine since I was 7 yrs. old), if it weren’t for your persistence and concern for the CORRECT End Result! In comparison with other trainers, I can honestly say, I am learning the Right Way to handle my horse. In a huge population of horse professionals, you are certainly one of very few that know and practice what they teach. These lessons will be valuable for years to come, with Snickers, and other potential horses in the future.
